Yeah - not their best effort by ANY means what-so-ever. They're trying too hard with that raggae (sp?) bullshit.
$10 down the tubes, I am afraid.
Let's hope they stick to Music, Grassroots, the blue album & Transistor on 9/1.
Such a let down.....
I have to be a 311 fan because I'm from Kansas, and there's that midwest connection thing....but frankly, their music has gotten boring and I never have liked the guy who raps. I'm such a traitor.
If you didn't like S.A. Martinez before, you'll absolutely hate him on this one. Somebody told him he can sing. He can't sing. Trust me on this. He's absolutely horrible.
They really haven't made a solid album since Transistor. And that was 8 years ago now. Everything since has had a few good songs here and there, but been below average in general. This album doesn't have a single good track on it.
I'm debating going to the concert on 9/1, that's how bad this album is. I'm afraid they'll play more than 2 songs off of it, and I just don't want to sit through it...
