Um, don't buy Sin City today.
Didn't think I'd hear myself saying that. Just an FYI though, there's a much better version with actual special features and stuff coming out in a few months. I love the movie to its violent, black-hearted core, but I ain't no sucka who's gonna spend his hard-earned cash on 2 copies of the same movie. Not that I haven't done that like 20 times already on much lesser movies, but I digress. Spend your money on The Simpsons: Season 6 instead.

Man, don't you hate when they do that, like with Laird of the Rings? We need to buy the whole extended version collection now. I haven't even gotten to see Sin City yet. But I will most definitely be staying away from the Simpsons. Sorry.
I really have nothing witty to say about this, my coffee hasn't kicked in yet.
At least they're letting people know that a better one is coming out. Well, not in those commercials that look like they were put together by a 12-year-old using dad's copy of After Effects, but hey. Of course, I'm still waiting for my Kill Bill special edition DVDs, too...
No Simpsons? Again, you're no fun.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE SIN CITY!!!
Okay - why no simpsons?!? I'm shocked.
I loved, loved the Simpsons when they were a cartoon short at the end of the Tracy Ullman show. That's how long ago it was. I get bored really quick with tv programs. Plus I'm not into cartoons that much. But I can watch the Goonies over and over and over again. I'm sure that redeems me, right?
Okay, you rock. Sin City was awesome--I live in Europe, so I didn't get to see it until Sunday in the theater.
And the Simpsons Season 6 has been pre-ordered from amazon.co.uk. It's my favorite show of all time, with the Sopranos coming in a close second.
maki, I had thought that you and Queenie (1funnybitch.blogspot.com) would make a good pair, but she has literally hundreds of dvds. Not so good.
I was thinking of buying Sin City, so thanks for the tip. I usually don't care about special features, though. I just like to wait a little while so I don't have to pay $20 for a brand new dvd. I'm all about bargains
Go buy that new 311 CD today, though - that from the "Mark teaches 14-year old 6th graders Foundation"
September 1st. Metro Park. We're there....
Well, the new one will be a 2-disc set that will contain "unabridged" versions of each story from the movie, along with all the extra goodies and, of course, the theatrical cut of the film.
The full interview with Robert Rodriguez where he spills all the beans except a street date!
You really don't want to know how many DVDs I own. Let's just say DVD Aficionado cuts off my display at 500, but I've got a lot more in there than that. Best Buy should start sending me a Christmas card or something.
Now that I think about it, it's kind of odd that someone would think someone else and I would make a good pair after reading some of my fun adventures in attempting to pick up women. Go figure.
Yes, I'm bored between work meetings. All I do is attend meetings these days. My iCal is an absolute mess of meeting fun...
I'm with you on waiting for the GOOD Sin City DVD. I hate when loyal fans get dicked like that... :)
But hey, at least we know ahead of time for a change!
Maki does have way too many DVDs. I do my best to help out by borrowing them and returning them a year later. Funny thing is that it's really not working. He doesn't notice.
To be fair, I haven't read much of your past stuff re picking up women. I suppose I just got a vibe. heh.
Well, at least I can give vibes, even if I've got no game...
lol, i put the homer simpson case on the shelf today at work. it made me giggle.
