No pictures to see here.
I cooked myself by Tracy's pool today. I have a total redneck tan going now because I politely decided to wear a shirt to the San Marco Art Festival on a typical Florida 90-degree 98% humidity April day. You guys won't get the requested pictures because I didn't realize how much I need to clean my tiny little bathroom mirror until I took a picture and the light in there makes me look stark white even though I'm a very pleasant pink. Sorry.
Other than the farmer's tan, I've had pretty much an absolutely fantastic weekend. Best in ages, really. How was yours?
PS: If you called or IM'd or texted me this weekend and I didn't get back to you, um, sorry about that. I was a little preoccupied. Let this be your blanket apology, since pretty much everyone that calls or texts or IM's me reads this anyway.

Wait, wait, wait....
I know what made your weekend extra, super-duper special...
...waiting about an hour and a half for a table at Copeland's Friday night. Yeah, that's it!!;)
Hey - at least you had a good amount of brew in you at that point.
(Let me add a side note here - the wait was absolutely NO fault of Jennifer's.)
How was the rest of my weekend, you ask?? Mowed the lawn in very cruel heat on Saturday (nearly passed out); sat around on my ass and played NCAA Football '06; and went back outside to make the rest of my yard look pretty damn good, I must say (fertilized, edged, used the weed-eater, etc.)
Did you have time for Bed Bath & Beyond?
Spent the weekend in Americus, Georgia with Mrs. Mosley for a third wedding anniversary getaway.
"Americus?", you say? It's just north of Albany and is a nice little town with a great Bed & Breakfast (my original reason for choosing the town). We managed to hit the two major tourism spots in the area: The Andersonville national park and Jimmy Carter's boyhood home in Plains.
Because, really folks, nothing says romance than historical sites that recount poverty, disease and the extent of human suffering.
Truth be told, we both enjoyed it very much, especially my history buff wife. So I got a bonus during our trip in the reminder of why I married the old girl in the first place.
All together now: AAAAWWWWWWWWWW!
While Lynn was away, I hit all the nice stores - Bed, Bath & Beyond; little Home Depot; Linens 'N Things; might have hit Michael's Arts & Crafts if I had more time...
I could tell you all about my weekend but something tells me you already know.
TAKE IT OFF!
TAKE IT OFF!
TAKE IT OFF!
TAKE IT OFF!
*blink blink*
ummm... I think Matty wants you.
to.
TAKE IT OFF!
This is all very sweet. I feel like your life is pulling itself together in a way that is going to make your blog extremely boring. You got a sunburn. You spent time with people you care about. Where's the drama? Where's the nudity? Where the hell is the poor decision-making?!
I'll continue here.....where's the drunken stupors?? Where's the throwing up on the sidewalk or in the bushes?? Where's the....ahh, forget it...
Matty - shouldn't you be teaching right now and shit?? Oh wait- me,too - okay, class, back to the lesson on area of circles....
BTW, you shouldn't feel bad about not posting a lot. It gives us something to look forward to, and then to be disappointed by.
I painted the front door and "listened" to some guy go on about what a great day he had on Saturday. It was exhausting...really! :-)
